PADI's Specialty Emergency First Response (EFR+CFC) course is designed to prepare individuals for situations where they may need to apply first aid. You must have the appropriate equipment to complete the course. There is also rental gear available. Click here for more information about this course. For those who have some experience but want to refresh their skills, this course can also be used as a refresher.

Content

EFR training is a great way of increasing your confidence and willingness to handle medical emergencies. This course covers basic procedures in emergency care. Participants can practice these skills in a relaxed environment. You will find self-study guides, videos, and quick reference cards. It meets all the requirements to be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver and professional rating.

CPR, rescue breathing, scene assessment and basic first aid are some of the topics covered in this course. Participants will also learn how to treat common dive injuries. This includes learning how to bandage, splint, and prevent infection. Students will also learn how they can protect themselves from dangerous pathogens. This course can help you save lives in potentially life-threatening situations.

Pre-requisites

PADI's Emergency First Response Course is a course lasting one day that teaches how to respond to medical emergencies. The program includes skills and classroom training as well real-life practice. The course does not require any pre-requisites.

This course meets the CPR and first-aid training requirements for the PADI Rescue Diver and all professional levels of the PADI Scuba Diver program. Requirements

Emergency First Response training builds confidence and prepares participants to help others in an emergency. The course includes lifesaving skills such CPR, primary care, and first aid. It emphasizes the importance in minimizing risks. The course also teaches non-divers how to better prepare for emergency situations.


Students can sit for the PADI Instructor examination after completing the EFRI Program. Each course in the EFRI program begins with the prefix EFRI and is numbered sequentially. Each course takes one hour and includes 55 minutes of class time, five minutes of break and five minutes of rest.

Refresher course

For people looking to improve their skills, the EFR Refresher Course was created. The course consists of two parts: a Skill Development session and an Exam. EFR refresher courses are optional, but recommended by the EFR Instructor Handbook. The refresher course will cover the most recent developments in CPR/first Aid. You will also learn how to use the AED. Additionally, you will be able to instruct others on how to perform these skills in an emergency.

It is a great way for you to brush up your skills and fulfill the requirements of the PADI Rescue Diver Course. It fulfills the requirements for Professional Rescue Diver and other courses that need CPR training. It also contains an Emergency First Response Video that helps participants prepare for emergency situations and preview the skills they will use during the skills development session.

Cost

The Emergency First Responder course is a one-day course that covers all aspects of emergency response. It includes classroom lessons and video presentations. This course is an integral part of PADI certification. It also fulfills prerequisites for many courses. The course costs around 6,900 THB per person. The fee covers the training manual and two years' PADI certification fees.

PADI Emergency First Responseer training will give you CPR and rescue breathing skills, as well scene assessment and monitoring of victims.
