ERDI offers a wide range of educational development and research opportunities to superintendents, assistant/deputy directors, and CTOs. This program has encouraged dialogue among industry leaders as well as school district leaders regarding the role of leadership and equity within the education system. In addition, ERDI has hosted its first-ever Thought Leader Symposium, where school district and industry leaders studied ways to increase equity and excellence in education.

ERDI Programs
ERDI offers a variety of programs that allow international students to continue their education in their country. Students at the University of Eastern Finland can take ERDI courses in Finland while they study. These programs are intended to enhance intercultural dialogue and address environmental issues globally. Teachers from both countries have worked together to plan and teach ERDI courses. Both students and teachers can benefit from the multicultural teaching environment.
In the case of ERDI's Testifying in Court program, students will gain insight into the court system and criminal legal processes. Students will learn more about the court system, and how to present testimony.
Underwater Crime Scene Investigations
The ERDI Underwater Crime Scene Investigation program is designed to help law enforcement professionals acquire the knowledge and skills needed to conduct underwater crime scene investigations. Participants will learn how they can collect evidence, record the scene, and present court-ready testimony. The course is open to law enforcement and other emergency service personnel.
Instructors with experience in forensic investigation will instruct the students. They are experts and certified in the area of underwater crime scene investigation. They have extensive backgrounds in criminal justice and law enforcement. They have advanced knowledge in crime scene investigation. They will train law enforcement and public safety professionals from around the world.
Confined Space Diving Ops component
ERDI enables students to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for safe operation in restricted spaces. This training conforms to OSHA, NFPA and FEMA regulations concerning water rescue. Students will learn how to respond to a variety of emergencies in the confined spaces. In addition, they will learn how to decontaminate victims and conduct a thorough search for evidence.
