Open water can be found in the ocean, lakes, or even flooded pits. Open water is a different term from "confined waters", where most of the diver training takes places. Caribbean Sea diving training
There are many Caribbean Sea diving course options. These courses can all be done in different locations but they are most often performed with a single tank. Single tank dives cost an average of $65, and are typically very affordable. Equipment rental is also included. A certificate course costs approximately $105 and includes course material. Most Caribbean diving schools can be found in the Dutch-speaking portion of the island. There is also an English-speaking minority in the island, which is helpful in teaching people of any nationality.
