DAN dive insurance covers members against the financial consequences of an underwater accident. A $35 membership fee is required for an individual and $55 for a household. There are currently 137,451 profiles on the PDE computer database. These data are gathered from field work, laboratory studies and other research activities that aim to improve dive safety.
PDE stands short for Project Dive Exploration. DAN divers can contribute to the charity by sharing their profile information. Participate in the contest by diving for at least five dives from May 28 to September 3, 2007. You will be entered into a drawing. A commemorative T-shirt will be given to divers who have completed 10 or more dives.
