Padi Tec 40 Diver Course

The Tec 40 Diver program is designed for those who want to learn how to dive in emergency situations. The course includes three training dives and a confined water diving session. Knowledge development sessions and practical applications are also included. This certification can only be obtained after you have completed at minimum 30 dives. Upon completion of this course, you'll be eligible to take Padi Tec 40 courses at colleges and universities worldwide.

Tec 40 course

The PADI Tec 40 program expands on recreational diving skills to include advanced techniques. This course introduces students both to air compression and trimix 65. It also teaches advanced skills in tec deep diving. Students at Tec 40 can also learn to use back gas and master buoyancy controls. A specialized nitrox theory will be taught to them.

The Tec40 course emphasizes team diving techniques, self-reliance and communication in water. Students learn about decompression theory to help plan dives better. In addition, the course provides a detailed session on diving equipment configuration and best practices for recreational divers.

The PADI Tec40 Course takes about three days. The course requires that students have completed at minimum 30 dives in log, with at least 10 in enriched oxygen. Upon completion of the course, students are eligible to switch gas and use enriched air to dive to 40 meters.


You must take the Tec40 course

The PADI Tec 40 course, which is geared towards technical diving, is a great place for beginners. It bridges the gap between recreational and technical deep decompression dive. It provides the necessary skills for tec diver training. You will be able dive up to 40m without stopping, and you can use 50% EANX or enriched air on your decompression dives. You'll also be able to use a full technical rig.

The Tec40 course teaches advanced dive theory and encourages self-reliance in the water. Tec40 also introduces students advanced nitrox theory. This includes partial-pressures, oxygen exposure over multiple diving sessions.

College credit for Tec40 course

PADI Tec40 course requires three days of diving. The minimum number of dives required is 30 and the maximum of 10 enriched-air nitrox. The course teaches divers how to plan and use oxygen and enriched air to decompress. It also teaches divers how to plan for and make extended stops. This is the next step of a diver's diving training and opens up the doors to deeper expeditions. College credit is available for those who complete the course.

The Tec 40 course is designed for advanced divers who wish to increase their knowledge in technical diving. The course includes planning and using two deco gases (nitrox in stages and 100% oxygen at the end), as well as navigating the multigas computer. The course is suitable for divers who have completed their PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification and have dived at least 30 times.
