padi certified

The Tec 40 Diver course is designed to introduce you to the necessary skills to handle emergencies while diving. The course comprises three training dives as well as a confined diving experience. You will be eligible to enroll in Padi Tec40 courses at colleges and universities around the globe after completing this course.

Tec 40 course

The PADI Tec 40 course extends the skills of recreational divers to include advanced techniques. The course introduces students to air and trimix65 decompression gases. Students also learn advanced tec deep dive skills. Tec 40 students will also learn how to use back gas and master buoyancy control. Advanced nitrox theory is also taught.

The Tec40 course emphasizes team-diving techniques and self-reliance in water. It also stresses communication in the water. Decompression theory is also taught to students, which makes it easier to plan dives. The course also covers the best practices and equipment configuration for recreational divers.

It takes approximately three days to complete the PADI Tec40 course. The course requires that students have completed at minimum 30 dives in log, with at least 10 in enriched oxygen. After completing the course, students can switch gas to use enriched oxygen to dive to 40 metres.

You must take the Tec40 course

If you are interested in technical diving, the PADI Tec 40 course is a great place to start. It bridges the gap between recreational and technical deep decompression dive. This course teaches the skills necessary for tec diver training. It will allow you to dive to 40 metres without stopping. You can also use enriched or 50% EANX for your decompression dives. You can also use a fully technical rig.

The Tec40 course teaches students advanced decompression theory, while also emphasizing team-diving approaches and a self-reliant approach in the water. Tec40 also introduces students to advanced nitrox theory, including partial-pressures and oxygen exposure over multiple dives.

For Tec 40 course, college credit

PADI Tec 40 requires a minimum 30 logged dives and 10 enriched air nitrox dives. It teaches the diver how to plan a dive and use enriched air and oxygen to decompress. It also helps the diver plan and execute extended decompression stops. This is the next step of a diver's diving training and opens up the doors to deeper expeditions. For those who successfully complete the course, college credit is possible.
