Maxwel Hohn has more than 4000 diving experience and is a skilled adventurer, photographer, and filmmaker. He lives on Vancouver Island in British Columbia and enjoys exploring the coastline and underwater life there. Hollis Scuba gear is used to help him improve his skills and aid in his projects.
Bob Hollis
Bob Hollis, who is a pioneer of the sport of scubadiving, is a local legend as well as a member of International Scuba Diving Hall of Fame. In the late 1950s, Hollis started scuba diving and began to take up underwater photography. This hobby required special equipment. Hollis' engineering degree allowed him to design his own housings for underwater camera. Hollis established Anchor Shack, a Hayward-based store selling underwater cameras in 1965. He began to receive mail orders for his housings.
Oceanic
The Hollis Scuba Oceanic brand has become one of the most famous and well-known names in Scuba Diving. The company was founded in 1972 by Bob Hollis and has since been synonymous with high quality diving equipment. The company produces rebreathers, diving computers, and novel diving masks featuring heads-up displays. They are also responsible for the development of military diving gear, including the MK-25 used by US Navy Navy frogmen as well as other naval work divers.

Hollis is a designer and manufacturer of high-tech diving equipment. Engineers from Hollis have designed equipment to suit the needs of both new and experienced technical divers. Hollis equipment for scuba diving is constructed with the most advanced materials and tested technologies.
Recalled dive computers
Hollis-Scuba recalls several defects in its dive computers. These flaws can cause divers to drown. The recalled dive computers have a faulty air flow control system that could cause the diver to lose control of their breathing underwater. The dive computers were sold for $1200 between November 2010 & July 2012. You can return the affected units to the factory or dealer for repairs.
Warranty
Hollis Scuba Warranty helps protect your investment and ensures the equipment meets your expectations. You can use it for recreational diving, provided you maintain it well. Hollis can exchange your equipment or provide a refund if there are any problems. This warranty does however not cover shipping costs. You cannot use your equipment for commercial or military purposes.
