The SSI Master Scuba Diver Rating is the most prestigious level of recreational diving. This rating combines skills development with knowledge and experiences. The qualification allows scuba divers to be role models to other recreational divers. A diver must have taken at least 4 specialty courses, and logged more than 50 diving hours to be eligible for this elite rating.
