Advanced Open Water Diver Courses

Advanced Open Water Diver training is recommended if you're looking to enhance your diving skills. This course will help you perfect your buoyancy, navigation, and deep diving skills. You can also choose three specialty dives. When you successfully complete the course, credit will be earned towards specialty certifications.

Adventure dives

Adventure dives are essential to become a fully certified scuba diver. These dives improve your awareness and buoyancy, as well as communication skills. You will need to complete five adventure dives before being certified. Your instructor will teach you planning and breathing techniques and how to improve your breathing.

These dives count towards your specialty and are called adventure dives. By doing this, you can choose dives which will prove useful for the future. PADI suggests divers choose dives with many objectives. This includes deep exploration and exploring wrecks and wildlife.

Night dive

Students learn different techniques to make it safer underwater in an Advanced Open Water Diver course. They learn how they can breathe correctly and how to maintain their body's alignment. They learn to communicate with their buddy and use diving lights. Students will have fun as they practice their skills by playing games in shallow water.

Night diving can be a great way of discovering new underwater worlds. Night diving offers a different experience to daytime diving, making it more interesting than daytime. Even though night diving is scary, it's not difficult. Your instructor will be able to teach you proper techniques and help you overcome some of the difficulties that come with diving at night.

Underwater naturalist dive

PADI Underwater Naturalist aims at providing students with the knowledge and skills needed to interact with the underwater ecosystem. Students learn about basic organism groupings and identification, how these species live in different habitats and how to practice environmentally-friendly diving. They are also taught about the importance marine conservation, including biodiversity conservation.

The PADI Underwater Naturalist course is for divers who have completed their PADI Open Diver certification and would like to explore the marine environment in a more scientific way. The course covers coral reefs, marine organisms and food chains as well as the relationships between different species. The course is 1 day long and involves 2 open water dives.

Peak performance buoyancy dive

Staying buoyant is one of the most important skills you can learn while diving. It's crucial to stay buoyant at all times, since falling into the water without correct buoyancy can lead to decompression illness. Improper buoyancy control also increases the risk of injury from sharp rocks or marine life. PADI Peak Performance Bulkancy Specialty was created to assist divers with proper buoyancy control so they can avoid these problems.

PADI Peak Performance is a one-week course that includes both classroom and pool sessions as scuba diving, with the option of two open water dives. This class teaches students how to maintain buoyancy and makes it easier for them to move around the water. PPB's goal is to make diving more fun, efficient, and easier.

Maximum depth is 30m/100ft

PADI Advanced Open Water is a course that teaches you how to dive up to 100 feet. It is dangerous to dive deeper than 100 feet. You could experience impaired cognitive function and nitrogen narcosis. Additionally, mistakes made at this depth could prove fatal. Without proper training, you shouldn't dive further than this.

Most Advanced Open Water courses can be completed within one to two days. The instructor will determine the duration of the course. The course can be taken online or at a local beach. It is important to have instructor training in advance of taking the course.
